Multi-unit residential developments don’t always prioritise appearance, but the brief for Keyte Street was clear from the start. This complex needed to stand out.
Working alongside Scott D Builders for Buildrite Development Ltd, Apex Roof ‘N’ Clad specified a fully unified Flaxpod palette across the entire build: 0.55g Maxam 5-Rib to the roof, 0.55g Maxam Alpine Tray 370 in Flaxpod Low Gloss to the walls, 135mm fascia, and 150 OG spouting — all in Flaxpod. The warm, earthy tone plays beautifully against the red brickwork, giving the development a considered, cohesive look that lifts it well above the standard for medium-density residential builds.
The technical focus of the project was getting the brick-to-tray junction right – a detail that can easily look unresolved if not handled with care, and one that was central to achieving the finished aesthetic the client wanted. The site itself was compact and busy, requiring close coordination with other trades throughout. Delivered on time for handover in April 2025, Keyte Street is a strong example of what thoughtful material selection and precise installation can do for residential developments that might otherwise settle for ordinary.
